Tagged with international label, Sony BMG music entertainment entered Telugu music market by releasing the sound track of ‘Nenu Meeku Telusa’, their first ever Telugu film music album. Now Sony is bidding for Komaram Puli’s music rights for a huge amount of about Rs 2 crores. It is really surprising to note this giant amount offered by Sony for a regional language film. But the fact is that, Sony, after going through the calculations like Pawan’s earlier film ‘Jalsa’ setting records in its audio sales despite the piracy and online-downloading and also being the only film in the recent past to have earned a lump sum amount with mobile ring tones. This apart the crazy combination of Pawan and S J Suryah, India’s renowned company Reliance partnering this project and the music emperor A R Rahman’s music composition for ‘Komaram Puli’ put together made Sony bid a striking price as it will be benefited by all means. Well, if all goes well and is fine, then Pawan Kalyan will be the real ‘Puli’.
